Clarendon Memorial Hospital
The citizens of Clarendon County have access to excellent local and regional healthcare resources. Clarendon Memorial Hospital, which was built in 1993, is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Surgeries are performed in state-of-the-art surgery suites with many procedures conducted on an out-patient basis. Birthing rooms allow the whole family to participate in labor and delivery. Radiologists are equipped with the latest x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, mammography and CAT scan technology.
Physicians are available 24-hours a day in the Emergency Department. Senior health services are also a part of the hospital’s program of services to the community.
Dr. J. Daulton DuBose Medical Center
Dr. J. Daulton DuBose Medical Center is Clarendon Health System’s newest provider. It is located at the I-95 exit 108, just off Buff Blvd. in Summerton.
The clinic is currently served by eight employees, including a physician, Dr. Woody Dixon of St. Matthews and Katherine Coffey, a physician’s assistant.
The Dr. J. Daulton DuBose Clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and they do not close for lunch. New patients and walk-ins are welcome.
