Clarendon County is served by three separate school districts. District 1 serves the Summerton area in the southwest section of the county. District 2 serves the Manning area in central Clarendon County. District 3 serves the Turbeville area in the northeast part of the county. All three districts are award-winners and have been noted for the ever-increasing achievements in both academics and athletics.
There are also two private schools in the county serving grades K-12. Clarendon Hall is located in Summerton and Laurence Manning Academy is in Manning.
Centers of community life, Clarendon’s schools welcome students and families across the county.
The F.E. DuBose Career Center serves the county with adult education classes as well as college level classes for area high school juniors and seniors. Central Carolina Technical College has a branch campus at the F.E. DuBose Center offering college level coursework for adult residents.
